Is Inflowave approved by Instagram?
Yes. Inflowave uses only official Meta APIs.
But being approved doesn't mean anything goes. We enforce stricter rules than Meta requires because we believe automation should help people, not spam them. If you abuse the platform, we will remove you. No warnings, no refunds.
How Inflowave works with Meta
Inflowave connects to Instagram through the official Instagram Graph API and Messenger Platform API. We do not use screen scraping, browser emulation, unofficial endpoints, or any technique that violates Meta's Platform Terms.
Every action Inflowave takes on your behalf goes through Meta's approved channels. This means your accounts are as safe as the API allows. But it also means we are bound by Meta's rate limits, feature restrictions, and policy changes, and so are you.
What this means in practice:
- 1.We authenticate via Meta OAuth only. We never ask for your Instagram password.
- 2.We only use permissions you explicitly grant during connection.
- 3.We respect all documented API rate limits. We cannot bypass them.
- 4.You can revoke Inflowave's access at any time from your Meta account settings.
Meta's API limits you need to know
Meta enforces rate limits on all API actions. These are not Inflowave limits, they are Meta's limits. We cannot increase, bypass, or negotiate them on your behalf.
Messaging (DMs)
Instagram's Messaging API only allows you to respond to users who message you first or interact with your content (comments, story replies, etc.) within a 24-hour window. You cannot cold-DM users who haven't interacted with you. After 24 hours, the conversation window closes and you can only send a limited number of follow-up message tags. Bulk unsolicited DMs are not possible through the official API, period.
Comment Automation
You can auto-reply to comments on your own posts. However, Meta's spam detection flags accounts that send identical or near-identical replies at high volume. If your replies look like copy-paste spam, Meta will restrict your account. Inflowave cannot prevent or reverse this.
API Rate Limits
Meta enforces per-account and per-app rate limits on all API calls. The exact numbers vary by endpoint and account tier, but typically you are limited to 200 API calls per user per hour for most endpoints. Hitting these limits results in temporary blocks. Repeatedly hitting them can flag your account for review.
Content Publishing
Instagram limits publishing to 25 posts per 24-hour period per account via the API. Stories, reels, and carousel posts each count toward this limit. Exceeding it results in failed publishes and potential account restrictions.
Account Restrictions
Meta has automated systems that flag accounts for suspicious behavior regardless of whether you use an approved tool. New accounts, accounts with low follower counts, and accounts with sudden spikes in activity are more likely to be flagged. We cannot protect you from Meta's internal enforcement systems.
Zero-tolerance policy
We are stricter than Meta requires. The following behaviors will result in immediate and permanent removal from Inflowave. No warnings. No second chances. No refunds.
Spam and unsolicited outreach
Using Inflowave to send mass unsolicited messages, bulk friend requests, or automated follow/unfollow campaigns. If your use of the platform looks like spam, you're done. This includes using workarounds, third-party tools alongside Inflowave, or any creative interpretation of "it's not technically spam."
Fake engagement and manipulation
Buying followers, likes, comments, or views. Using bot networks. Participating in engagement pods through the platform. Inflating metrics in any way. If we detect fake engagement patterns on accounts connected to Inflowave, we will disconnect them immediately.
Scraping and unauthorized data collection
Using Inflowave in combination with scraping tools, browser automation scripts, or any unauthorized data collection method. If you are harvesting user data, contact information, or content outside of what the official API provides, you will be permanently banned.
Running multiple accounts to evade restrictions
Creating new Inflowave accounts to circumvent a previous ban or restriction. Connecting accounts that have been restricted by Meta for policy violations. Operating duplicate accounts to bypass rate limits. We track these patterns and will terminate all associated accounts.
Impersonation and deceptive practices
Using the AI chatbot to impersonate real people without disclosure. Misleading users into believing they are talking to a human when they are not. Sending messages that misrepresent your identity, business, or intentions. Automating interactions that violate consumer protection laws.
Prohibited content and illegal activity
Distributing prohibited content through automated messages. Using the platform for harassment, threats, or abuse. Any activity that violates local, national, or international law. We will cooperate with law enforcement if required.
What we can do vs. what we cannot
What Inflowave can do
- +Keep you compliant with Meta's latest API policies
- +Provide automations that work within official rate limits
- +Train AI on your past conversations to match your voice
- +Alert you when your activity approaches risky thresholds
- +Escalate legitimate technical issues to Meta on your behalf
- +Give you analytics and insights from official API data
What Inflowave cannot do
- –Reverse bans or restrictions imposed by Meta
- –Override Instagram's spam detection systems
- –Bypass API rate limits or messaging windows
- –Guarantee your account will never be flagged
- –Protect you from consequences of your own policy violations
- –Restore accounts that Meta has permanently disabled
How to use Inflowave without getting flagged
The vast majority of our users never have issues. Here is how they do it:
Warm up new accounts gradually
Don't connect a brand new Instagram account and immediately run automations at full volume. Start slow. Increase activity over days and weeks, not hours.
Personalize your automated messages
Use Inflowave's AI to create messages that sound like you, not a template. Identical messages sent at volume are the fastest way to get flagged by Meta.
Respect the 24-hour messaging window
Only message people who have interacted with you first. The API enforces this, but trying to work around it through other means will get you banned from Inflowave.
Don't automate everything
Automation should handle repetitive tasks so you can focus on meaningful conversations. If 100% of your interactions are automated, you are doing it wrong.
Monitor your account health
If Instagram sends you a warning, take it seriously. Reduce activity immediately. Contact our support team and we'll help you adjust your automations.
One tool at a time
Do not run Inflowave alongside other Instagram automation tools. Multiple tools hitting the same account doubles the API load and dramatically increases your risk of being flagged.
How we enforce these rules
We actively monitor usage patterns across the platform. This is not a set of rules we hope people follow. We enforce them.
- 1.Automated detection: We monitor for spam patterns, abnormal message volumes, and policy violations in real time.
- 2.Manual review: Flagged accounts are reviewed by our team. We look at message content, automation configurations, and usage patterns.
- 3.Immediate suspension: Accounts violating our zero-tolerance policies are suspended immediately. We do not send warnings for clear violations.
- 4.Permanent removal: Confirmed violations result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of any remaining subscription balance. This is final.
TL;DR
Inflowave is Meta-approved and uses only official APIs. We enforce rules that are stricter than what Meta requires. Use automation to save time and serve your clients better, not to spam people. If you abuse the platform, we will permanently remove you with no refund. Play by the rules and you'll never have a problem.
