Challenge
A BC-based pack brand was running studio-shot creative at 2.2x ROAS on Meta. Reviews mentioned the product looked great online but customers had no idea how it performed in actual rain or alpine conditions.
Approach
Replaced studio with 18 BC and Washington athletes shooting in genuine alpine conditions across 6 weeks. Built a hook library focused on durability stress-tests (rain, snow, scree, granite abrasion). Shipped 28 variants/week with iPhone-shot raw aesthetic.
Result
ROAS jumped from 2.2x to 4.7x in 14 weeks. Return rate fell 41% as buyer expectations matched delivery. Brand 3x-d ad spend while improving CAC.
