4.6x ROAS for UK skincare brand after 90-day creative volume push

Challenge
A premium UK skincare brand was stuck at 1.8x ROAS on TikTok with rising CPMs (£18+) and 3 ad variants running for 6 weeks straight. Creative fatigue was killing performance and the in-house team could not produce fast enough.
Approach
Crescent shipped 32 UGC variants per week across 4 hook angles (problem-aware, derm-led, before/after, ingredient-deep). Used TikTok Spark Ads with whitelisted creator handles and ran a 5-day creative tournament weekly to scale only the top quartile by 3-second view-through and add-to-cart rate.
Result
Blended ROAS climbed from 1.8x to 4.6x in 90 days. CPMs dropped 41% as the algorithm rewarded creative diversity. Brand cut hero-creative dependency and now runs 18 concepts in parallel.
