A Portland granola brand was acquiring 3,000 new customers per month on Meta but seeing only 12% repeat-purchase within 90 days. CAC kept rising and retention was flat.
Approach
Redwood rebuilt the post-purchase journey with usage-based Klaviyo flows, a 6-week recipe series, and a "subscribe and skip" SMS opt-in. Replaced sitewide discounts with bundle offers tied to taste preference data captured at checkout.
Result
Repeat-purchase rate inside 90 days climbed from 12% to 49%. Subscription revenue went from 8% of total to 31% of total. Email + SMS now drives 38% of monthly revenue at near-zero acquisition cost.
