Connect Zapier to Inflowave

Connect Inflowave to 6,000+ tools — when our native integrations are not enough.

What this integration does

Inflowave has native integrations for the high-traffic stuff (Meta, Twilio, Stripe, Calendly, Zoom, Slack, Google), but for everything else there's Zapier — 6,000+ apps, drag-and-drop trigger/action builder, no code. Inflowave exposes 50+ triggers (new DM, deal stage change, booking, payment, tag added, AI agent escalation, etc.) and 30+ actions (create contact, send DM, add tag, move pipeline stage, send SMS, trigger workflow). For agency teams, this means you can wire Inflowave into the long-tail tools your clients use — Notion, Airtable, ClickUp, Linear, MailChimp, ConvertKit, Mailgun, Pipedrive, etc. — without waiting for us to build a native integration.

How to connect — 5 steps

  1. 1

Open Inflowave → Settings → Connected Accounts → Add Zapier

  2. 2

Generate an API key in Inflowave (scoped to specific actions if needed)

  3. 3

In Zapier, search for "Inflowave" and connect the account

  4. 4

Build your first Zap: pick a trigger (e.g. New Inflowave Deal) + an action (e.g. Add row to Airtable)

  5. 5

Turn on the Zap — it now runs every time the trigger fires

Use cases

CRM-to-spreadsheet sync

Push new deals/contacts into Airtable or Google Sheets for client reporting that the client can edit themselves.

Notion/ClickUp task creation

On AI agent escalation, auto-create a task in Notion or ClickUp so VAs pick it up the same day.

Long-tail email tool support

For ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite (which we don't natively support), Zapier bridges the gap.

Custom alerting

On high-value deal stage change, fire a Zap that pings PagerDuty, OpsGenie, or any custom webhook.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use Zapier or our native integrations?

Native if available — they are faster, more reliable, and free. Zapier for the long-tail apps where we do not have native support.

Are there rate limits?

Inflowave is unlimited; Zapier has its own task limits per plan. Heavy-volume Zaps (10k+/day) we recommend Make.com instead — same idea, cheaper at volume.

Can I scope the API key to specific actions?

Yes — Inflowave API keys support fine-grained scopes. For Zapier, scope to only the trigger/action types you need.

How Zapier works with Inflowave in practice

The Zapier integration plugs into the same Inflowave workflow engine that handles DM automation, lead pipelines, and unified inbox. Connect Inflowave to 6,000+ apps via Zapier. Trigger Zaps on new DMs, deal stage changes, bookings, payments — and push CRM data into any external tool. Once connected, every event Zapier fires can trigger an Inflowave automation — and every Inflowave action can write data back into Zapier — so the two tools stay in sync without manual exports or copy-paste.

Most teams using Inflowave alongside Zapier land on a similar setup pattern: connect the account on the integrations page, pick the events you want to react to, and route the data into the Inflowave entity it should live on (lead, contact, conversation, or pipeline stage). Setup takes about 10 minutes for a fresh workspace and is reversible — disconnecting cleanly removes the webhook and stops the data sync.

Inflowave's role is to be the operating layer for Instagram-driven business — which means the Zapier integration's value lands hardest when there's a real conversation flow to attach data to. Agencies running multiple client Instagram accounts use Zapier per-client; solo creators tend to wire one Zapier account to all their connected Instagram profiles. Both shapes are supported by the same integration code path.

If Zapier isn't the right fit, Inflowave ships native equivalents for many common workflows (built-in scheduling, built-in CRM, built-in unified inbox), so the integration is meant for teams that already standardized on Zapier and want to keep using it — not as a gating dependency. The integration is included in every paid Inflowave plan with no per-event surcharge.
